Decathlon, Stockport
Monday 2nd March – Sunday 8th March
9am – 8pm
Decathlon, George's Rd, Stockport SK4 1DN, UK
Take advantage of our Buyback scheme, where you can trade in your old sports equipment and we’ll exchange your pre-loved items for gift cards or bank transfer. We’ll then find your old gear a Second Life. This means one less product needs to be made and one less goes to waste. If you're looking to swap out an old bike this is a great way to do it, by getting some credit or money back for your previously loved bike towards something new! We will then refurbish and give a new lease of life to your old product. This is something we do all year round, but repair week offers a great time to be taking some action on it! Alongside trading in, if you're looking to look after your current bike, our workshop has the expertise to help you feel safe and confident whether on the roads on your commutes or hitting the mountain trails!

Most of our refurbished bikes are donated via our ‘Bike Giveaway’ scheme to people facing financial or social disadvantage. Some of the bicycles are sold at modest prices to ensure that as many people as possible can access cycling regardless of income. We prevent a lot of unloved bikes from going to waste. As members of the UK Men's Sheds Association we align with their aims of 'Connection, conversation and creation'. For the repair week event we will focus on bike repairs for people who want to keep their bike! If we can't fix your bicycle on the day we will arrange a time for you to collect it when it is ready. Where possible we fit salvaged parts if needed, new parts are charged at cost. A major repair/ service will cost from £30 but for something straightforward a suggested donation is £10 – £30. ****Repairs must be booked in advance by email: reddishmeninsheds@gmail.com****
